Kwande Sisters Foundation

KSF is a membership based non government organization focused on Designing and implementing initiatives/interventions that seek to promote peace, cultural values, environmental sustainability and enhance socio – economic development. Founded 6 years ago by daughters from kwande LGA to address the developmental challenges in kwande particularly and else where in Benue and Nigeria at large, KSF has implemented many people oriented projects including health such as Hospital Visitations, paying of Hospital bills, Medical Outreach and creating awareness of menstrual hygiene management. We have also carried out visitation of IDP camps in Kwande, Guma and Makurdi which were affected by the violent clashes between herdsmen and farmers, and flood victims where we donated relief materials worth millions, provided Skills acquisition of different types of windows and training on the SDGs. As a way of intervention, we identify projects yearly and try to implement. For this year, among others is the inaugural TIV Lecture Series which will be an annual event.

Meet the Team

Kwande Sisters Foundation is governed by the Board of Trustees and the Management Team. While the 5-member Board of Trustees make critical decisions concerning the general functioning of the Foundation, the Management Team is in charge of executing the programmes and daily activities of the Foundation.
